It was impossible not to capture beautiful moments of this day, from start to finish! With the beautiful choice of flowers to the gorgeous bridesmaid dresses, made by the very talented Deborah (Mother of the bride) there was so much to capture. From the pictures you would never guess there were shakey moments... e.g. one of the wedding cars intended for the bridesmaids broke down but all pitching in, it was no longer a problem. As a photographer and a female I know only too well the problems and stress the big day can bring and have no qualms in getting my hands dirty, even if it has nothing to do with photography, I am there to take beautiful photographs but also to ensure you have the best day possible.
As I entered the church Chris was eagerly awaiting his bride and wow, you could feel the emotions. There was not a dry eye in the church as charlotte started walking down the isle, even I teared up, but that is one of the reasons why i have chosen this career path...I get to witness and be part of one of the biggest days of your life, what an honour.
The day was filled with laughter, joy and love, which was so evident through all the photos. This was my first wedding on my own as a single shooter, thankfully Charlotte and Chris saw my potential, trusted me with this amazing opportunity and ultimately grabbed themselves a bargain. Honestly I have to say, when the time came for me to leave after the first dance, I stayed to capture the moves being cut and the shapes being thrown on the dance floor!
